Accessibility

The site is plain HTML with one small script. Headings run in order, images carry alt text, and every page works with a keyboard and with a screen reader.

What we have done

• Text sits on its background at a contrast ratio of at least 4.5 to 1.
• Focus outlines are left visible rather than styled away.
• Body text scales when you zoom, with no fixed pixel heights trapping it.
• Navigation, breadcrumbs and pagination are marked up as landmarks with labels.
• Buy buttons are real buttons and announce their purpose.

Where it falls short

Alt text on a product photograph is the garment name, which says what the piece is but not what the picture shows. Our size charts live on the storefront listing, and several of them are images of tables rather than real tables, so a screen reader cannot read the numbers out. Write to us for the measurements of any piece and we will send them as text.
